Ben Wilkins has agreed to join South Lake Audio Services as a full time Sound Supervisor/Re-recording Mixer. This is a big plus for SLAS, as we are woefully lacking in the Audio Editorial Department. Hopefully, it’s a big plus for him too.Sales Team: Contact Steve Bartkowicz for a copy of his resume, and let’s put him to work..!! Please introduce yourselves, despite the fact he’s English, he’s quite a nice guy..!!Here is an excerpt from his IMDB Bio:“Originally from London, Ben moved to Hollywood to pursue his dream of creating sounds for feature films. Two decades and nearly 130 films later, Ben is just getting started. Part of a rare breed that is as good at designing sounds as he is at mixing them.Ben took home the Oscar for Sound Mixing and BAFTA for Sound on the independent film “Whiplash” (2014). Gary Bourgeois joins South Lake Audio Services
South Lake Audio Services is extremely pleased to welcome Emmy award winning, re-recording mixer Gary C. Bourgeois. Gary's list of credits covers the gamut of content including music videos and documentaries early in his career, to Pretty in Pink, Back to School, Ghostbusters II, Sunshine Cleaning and a host of other major film credits from the 1980’s to present day. Bourgeois has mixed a variety of television productions, from series to made-for TV movies the most recent being S.W.A.T on CBS and the highly anticipated Sorry For Your Loss coming soon on Facebook Watch. In October 2017 Steve Bartkowicz was brought on board to run South Lake, which is located adjacent to the well established Roundabout Entertainment. Steve joined with the ambition to solidify both the name and excellence of South Lake which included securing creatives with superb credits and talent, Gary Bourgeois is the epitome of both. With five mix stages in Burbank and one in Santa Monica a key component to the company's success is having fantastic creatives like Gary to offer to filmmakers, head of operations Bartkowicz added “he has vast experience and accomplishments as one of the best film and television mixers in town, he’s a phenomenal asset to our studio.”
